PlayBall! Minneapolis

There is a critical election coming up this November! The recently adopted SW Parks Master Plan eliminated two of the three baseball fields that SWHS baseball teams use, moves SWHS Softball from Pershing to Linden Hills and removes close to half of the ball diamonds in Southwest Minneapolis.

Advocates For Diamond Sports and Diamond Sports Athletes

“Play Ball Minneapolis” is a Minneapolis citizen’s diamond sports advocacy group. Our volunteers are residents of Minneapolis who love diamond sports, including baseball and softball, for every level of play. Our mission is to promote and support the access to play baseball and softball in the City of Minneapolis. Our volunteers come from various walks of life and represent parents of former, current, and future youth players from every level of the game: Park and Recreation Programs, Minneapolis Public School teams, and traveling programs such as 612 Fastpitch (traveling fastpitch softball) and Minneapolis Youth Baseball Association, “MYBA” (traveling baseball).
